Banyan Trading & Distribution Philippines, Inc. was incorporated in June of 2003 as one of the distribution arm of Clarmil, Inc. for the area of Quezon City, Caloocan and Bulacan. We are also currently partners with Smart Bake and Specialty Products Corporation, Super Candy, La Perla Inc., Goldilocks Inc., Philippine General Merchandising Corporation, Fompac Plastic Corp., Universal Robina Corporation, Beso Import & Export Trading Company and Asia Brewery Inc. in handling the distribution of their product lines for the whole Greater Metro Manila area and its neighboring areas.
Our market consists of schools, office buildings, government institutions and restaurants. We also cater to the trade market as well. Our products from our principals appeals to a wide range of retailers, wholesalers and institutional clientele. We have a fleet of six (6) delivery vans that covers the area we serve. Our distribution network is segregated into three areas:
1. East Quezon City, San Juan / Mandaluyong and Pasig; 2. West Quezon City and North Manila;
3. Makati, Pasay and South Manila. Two delivery vans are dedicated to each network areas. Our delivery resources is not limited to these areas, we also service other areas within Metro Manila. At present, we have plans of acquiring more vehicles to help serve our customers in a more efficient manner. Logistics personnel are also being added in order to meet the demands of our company’s growing needs. BTDPI also utilizes Information Technology in its office operations. From sales orders, sales invoicing to accounting, it is our firm belief that efficiency in the back room operations is, and will be vital to the growth of our company. Currently, logistics software is being developed by Emaya Philippines (sister company) to aid us in our efforts to further streamline our logistic operations. As we synergize our resources in operations within our company, this shall be our customers’ assurance in fulfilling their most stringent requirements.
Our Sales Team consists of a combined experience of over 10 years in the food service industry, (baked goods, bottled water, food condiments and bottled drinks) in both the institutional and trade markets. We have two divisions in our company at present: 1. Institutional Market 2. Trade Market. Each department is focused to develop each market segment as more and more customers or principals become available. As of the present, we have six (6) Field Account Specialists and one (1) Account Supervisor. In order to support our Sales team, we also have a group of Tele-Sales Marketers in our Call Center Division that helps in acquiring and developing our clientele’s requirements. As we grow, we are adding personnel to help the company reach its target goal. Currently, our institutional accounts number in the upper hundreds and while we are vigorously pursuing to develop our trade accounts which number only in the lower hundreds to reach or even surpass the thousand benchmark we’ve set.
